In April 7, 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Greece, Caldera Group donated a VENTIlogic LS ventilator to the General Hospital of Chania.

The VENTIlogic LS ventilator attempts to bridge the gap between Non-Invasive and Invasive Mechanical Ventilation. It can accommodate three different circuits according to the patient’s needs: Circuit with exhalation valve for mask therapy, Single Tracheostomy Circuit and Double Tracheostomy Circuit (return to Exhaled CO2 Measurement).

It is a crucial device for patients with respiratory problems, the cost and hence supply of which was too prohibitive for the public hospital of Chania.
